The Louisville Lemurs knocked off the Florida Flamingos, 6-1, at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. Thibault Lefebvre was a big reason Louisville won. The third baseman went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Griff Manzer got the win, improving to 5-2. He pitched 7.1 innings, giving up 6 hits and 1 run, while striking out 3 and walking 3. Louisville is now 22-16.
Louisville took a 5-1 lead on Lefebvre's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Pord Larquad [BOT] in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Louisville to the win.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Lefebvre.
