The Anchorage Wheelers defeated the State College Swift Steeds , 6-5, in Minor League PBE action at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Anchorage pitcher Jiggs Kingman had a standout performance. The winning pitcher was Kingman, now 2-2. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Wheelers.
