|
Starting pitcher Adeline King gave the Louisville Lemurs a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Chicago Kingpins, 2-1, at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. The Lemurs now own a record of 24-15.
Smack Miller contributed to the Lemurs cause with a productive at-bat in the bottom of the third inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single, giving Louisville the lead.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said King.
