Anchorage played host to California at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo.
Stetson Laramie helped his team muscle past the California Firehawks, 10-4. In the game, the Anchorage first baseman was 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Highdrah Coneis closed the door for Anchorage, picking up his 1st save of the year.
Parker Steele dealt the Firehawks a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and Anchorage trailing 4-3, Steele, who is rated as the 63rd best prospect by BNN, hit a 1-2 changeup for a 2-run single.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Anchorage manager .
The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Wheelers.
