Wheelers Slap 7-5 Loss on Armadillos
The Amarillo Armadillos got a superb performance from pitcher Zoe D'yak [BOT], but the Anchorage Wheelers still won the game, 7-5. D'yak [BOT] came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters. Wham A Geddon wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save. With the win, the Wheelers improved to 17-22.

Kilian De Blou had a big solo home run for the Wheelers in the top of the sixth inning. With Anchorage leading 6-5 and the bases empty, he sized up a cutter from 28-year old left-handed pitcher Zoe D'yak [BOT] and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Wheelers on top, 7-5.

"We take it day by day here," said De Blou, "and today was a good one for us."
