The Amarillo Armadillos put together a convincing win at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod, defeating the Puerto Rico Ranas, 11-3. Marcus Otatop was one of the hitting stars. He went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Amarillo. Aaron Ritter earned the win to go to 2-4. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts in 5 innings of work. The third-place Armadillos have a record of 17-23.
Early in the game, designated hitter Jordan Love had a 2-run home run for Amarillo. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Armadillos on top, 2-0.
