The Amarillo Armadillos did just enough to sneak past the Florida Flamingos, 9-8, at Florida Man Park. Amarillo center fielder Rob Cena IV, in particular, had a standout performance. The winner was Oil Can Sampson in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Extremely Confident took the loss. The win gives Amarillo a season record of 28-13.

Dusty Greer went 1 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs for Amarillo. The 21-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 8-8 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Extremely Confident. It was his 39th RBI of the season.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Cena IV said after the game.
