The California Firehawks scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Florida Flamingos at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. California pitcher Jonny Tom held his own in the contest. Picking up the save was 21-year old left-handed pitcher Claudio Kilgannon. California has now won 4 in a row.
Rafael Furcal Jr, who is tied for 5th in the MiLPBE in triples with 2, took Florida hurler Moe Mentum deep in the bottom of the fifth. His 3-run home run put the Firehawks on top, 3-1. In all, Furcal Jr had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
