Meredith Leads Wheelers to 8-3 Win Over Swift Steeds
The home crowd had a good time watching the State College Swift Steeds and Anchorage Wheelers get after it.

Anchorage center fielder Myles Meredith had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the State College Swift Steeds , 8-3. The triumph puts Anchorage at 23-19 for the season.

Meredith contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Anchorage in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Meredith took a fastball from Jackson Ramirez and stroked the home run to right. His 10th home run of the season allowed the Wheelers to leap in front, 2-1.

Meredith expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
