Swift Steeds Pull Out Late Win, 3-2
The rain could not keep the home crowd from enjoying a good ballgame.

The State College Swift Steeds knocked off the Louisville Lemurs, 3-2, in Minor League PBE action at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. State College pitcher and Tuscaloosa, Alabama, native Froggy Dubois had an outstanding performance. The winner was State College reliever Cass Silskrumblin, now 5-2. The loser was Hank Hill.

State College used the timely hitting of Gunnar Skovgaard to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Swift Steeds on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Froggy is a tough competitor," said State College manager .

The Swift Steeds are now 22-21, while the Lemurs fall to 28-15.
