Armadillos Lose Late, 7-5
The State College Swift Steeds defeated the Amarillo Armadillos, 7-5, in 12 innings. Green-Chilaquil Phan led the way, going 3-for-7 for State College. State College reliever Nero Mantics picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Trongle Man was saddled with the loss. With the win, State College pushed its record to 25-19.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the 12th, with State College trailing 5-4, Phan hit a fastball from Trongle Man for a 3-run home run, giving the Swift Steeds the walk-off win.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Phan. "I like it."
