Swift Steeds Rally Late to Clip Brew City
Brew City got a terrific performance from pitcher Shota Takahashi, but it wasn't enough to beat the State College Swift Steeds . State College won the Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House contest, 3-2. Takahashi threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball for the losing team. Karma Police [BOT] got credit for the win, improving to 1-3. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. State College's record now stands at 24-21, placing them third in the East Division.

State College needed the clutch hitting of Adam Confused to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Swift Steeds on top, 3-2. For the game, Confused had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It was a good effort all around," said Confused.
