Biz Kitmaker picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-2. He struck out 7 in 6.1 innings. The Swift Steeds sit in second place in the East Division with a record of 23-22.

With two out in the top of the first, Avery Acres barreled up a cutter from Batting Practice. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Swift Steeds in front, 4-0.

Slow told a State College Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
