Wheelers Win 5-3 Nail-Biter Versus Armadillos
The Anchorage Wheelers picked up a win at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo, dropping the Amarillo Armadillos, 5-3, in 12 innings. Jiggs Kingman, who is tied for 6th in the MiLPBE in quality starts with 7, was the difference-maker. Wham A Geddon picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. IKEA BLÅHAJ [BOT] was tagged with the loss. The last-place Wheelers bumped their record to 19-27.

The decisive blow was delivered by Cameron Squires in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a 2-run home run off 21-year old left-handed pitcher IKEA BLÅHAJ [BOT] to win the game for Anchorage. The home crowd went nuts.

"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Squires.
