Louisville Dismisses Puerto Rico, 3-0
|
Louisville picked up a win at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium, bumping off the Puerto Rico Ranas, 3-0. Pitcher Martin Kratt was a major reason the Lemurs emerged victorious. Picking up the save was BJ Ronaldo, his 5th. With the win, Louisville upped its record to 28-20.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Paulo Zalewski? The Louisville right fielder had a run-scoring strikeout in the top of the fifth inning to put the Lemurs on top, 1-0. For the game, Zalewski had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"It was a good effort all around," said Kratt.
