The Louisville Lemurs withstood an impressive performance by State College shortstop Gunnar Skovgaard to defeat the Swift Steeds , 8-6, at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. Skovgaard was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Istruckout Fetty [BOT] earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. With the win over State College, the Lemurs improved to 23-26.

Louisville right fielder Ozzie Robinson helped the Lemurs go up, 8-6, in the bottom of the eighth inning. With the game tied, Robinson hit a 2-run single off State College pitcher Joshua Homme III Esquire Limited.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Robinson, "but we got it done."
