Greer Helps Armadillos Beat Lemurs, 8-4
The Amarillo Armadillos trumped the Louisville Lemurs, 8-4, at Kenny Payne Appreciation Stadium. Amarillo third baseman Dusty Greer was terrific. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Amarillo reliever Trongle Man was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was BJ Ronaldo. The loss makes Louisville 29-20.

Amarillo used the timely hitting of Marcus Otatop to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Armadillos on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Otatop.
