The Brew City Bears knocked off the California Firehawks, 5-4, in Minor League PBE action at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. Brew City pitcher and Akabira, Japan, native Maru Zensky had an outstanding performance. Rufus LaFaro claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3.2 innings. His record stands at 5-3. With the win, Brew City has a record of 22-27. California falls to 26-23.

Brew City used the timely hitting of Career Minor Leaguer to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Bears on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Brew City manager commended his team for delivering "maximum effort."
