Armadillos Take Tight Tangle

The Amarillo Armadillos picked up a win at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites, knocking off the State College Swift Steeds , 3-2. On the mound for Amarillo was left-hander Ray Kwaza. He played a key role in the triumph. Curve Beckham [BOT], credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. With the victory, the Armadillos upped their record to 25-24.
Gary Love was the walk-off hero for Amarillo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Armadillos third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Kwaza.
