Bears Get 3-1 Win Versus Florida
|
Brew City pitcher Joseph Kelley did his part in helping his team beat the Florida Flamingos, 3-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. "Fire" Aaron Boone picked up the save for Brew City, his 9th of the year. The Brew City win streak is now 3 games.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the fifth inning, but Kelley was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Florida trailing 2-0, Kelley retired Jimmy Lumber, who grounded out.
