A good performance from catcher Back Stop helped the Puerto Rico Ranas defeat the Florida Flamingos, 6-4. Stop was 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Ranas. Puerto Rico, with the win, is 14-36.

Stop had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 0-1 knuckle curve from Barry Balls, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Ranas a 6-4 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Stop.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Stop said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
