Brew City beat Amarillo on the strength of starting pitcher The Pizzanator III's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-0. Brew City, at 34-18, is 4½ games up in the West Division.

Durian Crag dealt the Armadillos a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Brew City leading 2-0, Crag, who is tied for 2nd in the MiLPBE with a .996 OPS, hit a 1-2 fastball for a 2-run single.
