California pitcher Ingrid Keelhauler did his part in helping his team beat the Puerto Rico Ranas, 12-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. With the win, California has a record of 29-26. Puerto Rico falls to 25-30.

Dwaal Ing had a big 2-run double for the Firehawks in the bottom of the first inning. With California leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Muffin Heeler and swatted a double to right. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Firehawks ahead, 3-0.

"I thought we played a nice game," Ing told the California Gazette. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
