Armadillos Score 4-1 Win Over Kansas City

Amarillo and Kansas City duked it out and the Armadillos came out victorious.
The Amarillo Armadillos defeated the Kansas City Hepcats, 4-1, in Minor League PBE action at The Evil Dictator x Jose Forty-Three Best Friendship Ballpark. Amarillo pitcher Matt Hunter had a standout performance. Hunter picked up the win for Amarillo, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2.
It could have been a different outcome for Amarillo, had it not been for Lestat de Lioncourt, the 21-year old catcher . de Lioncourt contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Amarillo up, 2-0.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Kansas City skipper , "and it cost us."
With the win, Amarillo upped its record to 34-21.
