Wheelers Drop Another One, 11-3
|
The State College Swift Steeds topped the Anchorage Wheelers, 11-3, at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0. State College left fielder Jaheem Butler was a spark plug for the offense. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Anchorage now owns a losing streak of 6 games.
With State College leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Butler hit a fastball from Ivy Nurple for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Swift Steeds ahead, 5-0.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Butler said.
