Bears Get One-Run Win at Chicago
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Brew City Bears and Chicago Kingpins.
The Brew City Bears did just enough to sneak past the Chicago Kingpins, 3-2, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Brew City pitcher Daniel Martin, in particular, had a standout performance. Paj Bobba earned the save, his 9th.
Launch Angle, the 20-year old designated hitter , had a direct impact on the outcome. Angle contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Brew City up, 2-1.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Martin.
The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Bears.
