Dominant Performance by Sato in Brew City Win
|
In a tight tilt between the Brew City Bears and the Anchorage Wheelers, Masahiro Sato was the deciding factor. The Brew City right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Picking up the save was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Jack Dupp. With the win, Brew City pushed its record to 36-23.
The Bears liked what they saw from Sato. The 22-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Wheelers to no runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings, and striking out 8.
"We did just enough to win," Sato said.
