Hepcats Suffer 3-1 Road Loss
The home crowd had a good time watching the Kansas City Hepcats and Anchorage Wheelers get after it.

The Anchorage Wheelers picked up a win at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo, downing the Kansas City Hepcats, 3-1. On the mound for Anchorage was right-hander Scud Muffin, who played a pivotal role in the win. Andre Pope, credited with the save, is now 3 for 4 in save opportunities.

Monstar helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Wheelers.

Wheelers manager raved about Muffin after the game. "I thought Scud was 'lights out.'"

With the win over Kansas City, the Wheelers improved to 27-34.
