Kingpins Send Amarillo Home with 13-7 Loss
The first-place Chicago Kingpins took on the Amarillo Armadillos in front of a spirited crowd.

The Chicago Kingpins topped the Amarillo Armadillos, 13-7, in Minor League PBE action at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Chicago pitcher Mitch Goatbisky [BOT]. The loss makes Amarillo 30-31.

Boots Poffenberger hit a 2-run double off Tayalamp Battalemo in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Kingpins in front, 9-7. In addition to the double, Poffenberger had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Poffenberger told the Chicago Today.
