The Amarillo Armadillos defeated the Chicago Kingpins, 1-0, in Minor League PBE action at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Amarillo pitcher Marsh Mellow Jr. had a standout performance. Picking up the save was 21-year old left-handed pitcher IKEA BLÅHAJ [BOT]. Amarillo is 31-31 and Chicago, with the loss, 40-22.

The Kingpins had little chance against Mellow Jr., who overpowered Chicago hitters and struck out 10.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Amarillo manager .
