The Anchorage Wheelers got a stellar performance from pitcher Food Poisoning, who handcuffed the Puerto Rico offense en route to a win, 6-0, at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Poisoning picked up the win for Anchorage, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. The losses continue to mount for Puerto Rico, which has now dropped 9 in a row.

Jordan Lee had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Anchorage. He came through with a 2-run home run to put Anchorage in front, 4-0.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Anchorage manager .
