The Brew City Bears went down to defeat to Batting Practice [BOT] and his Puerto Rico teammates. The final score was 3-2, in favor of the Ranas. By defeating Brew City, the last-place Ranas improved to 14-48.

The decisive blow was delivered by Ted Hitchcock [BOT] in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 21-year old left-handed pitcher Joseph Kelley to win the game for Puerto Rico. The home crowd went nuts.

Puerto Rico manager said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
