The Amarillo Armadillos beat the Chicago Kingpins, 6-4, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Amarillo first baseman Da Minion DA GOAT had the hot bat. He was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Tayalamp Battalemo picked up the save for Amarillo, his 7th of the year. With the win, Amarillo upped its record to 32-31.
DA GOAT had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 slider from Jazz Hands, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Armadillos a 6-4 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for DA GOAT.
Amarillo manager called it "a darn good win."
