The Kansas City Hepcats beat the Anchorage Wheelers, 5-0, at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Kansas City first baseman Air Yordong led the way. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The victory gives Kansas City a record of 34-29.

Kansas City took a 5-0 lead on Yordong's 19th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Andre Pope in the top of the seventh, propelled Kansas City to the win.
