Lemurs Win 7-6 Nail-Biter Versus Flamingos
|
It was pandemonium at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle after an exciting walk-off win.
The Louisville Lemurs battled the Florida Flamingos into extra innings before the outcome was decided. The Lemurs won it, finally, 7-6, in 13 innings. In the game, Louisville second baseman Samuel Daryl went 2 for 6 with a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The win went to BJ Ronaldo [BOT] in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Hank [BOT] took the loss.
The Lemurs got a clutch hit from right fielder Ozzie Robinson. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Lemurs.
"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant , the Louisville manager.
The Lemurs now have a record of 31-32 with the win over Florida.
