Armadillos Earn 5-4 Win Versus Swift Steeds
The Amarillo Armadillos defeated the State College Swift Steeds , 5-4, at Count Longardeaux's Strong Badian Dictionary Fo' My Own Words Stadium today. Leading the charge for Amarillo was center fielder Kries Von Kriestalhauser. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Garlic Bread came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. His record now stands at 2-2. Amarillo is in third place in the West Division with a record of 36-30.

Von Kriestalhauser had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 1-2 circle change from Billy Jones, he banged a run-scoring double to left-center, giving the Armadillos a 5-4 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Von Kriestalhauser.

"Feels good to get the job done," Von Kriestalhauser said after the game.
