Lemurs Slap 8-4 Loss on California
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the California Firehawks and Louisville Lemurs get after it.
The Louisville Lemurs beat the California Firehawks, 8-4, at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. Louisville catcher Cal Covid had the hot bat. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. At 32-34, the Lemurs find themselves in second place in the East Division.
Samuel Sheeping, who is tied for 4th in the MiLPBE in home runs with 14, came through for Louisville with a 2-run double in the bottom of the third. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 runs batted in.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager said.
