In a high-scoring contest between State College and California, right fielder Tommy Killfigure was a difference-maker. Killfigure, who is tied for 6th in the MiLPBE in triples with 2, distinguished himself in the 9-8 State College win. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 6. Ultra Nium came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 5 hits in 3.2 innings. His record now stands at 4-3. The win for the Swift Steeds lifted their record to 34-32.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With State College trailing 8-5, Killfigure jumped on a sinker from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Cheii Armbanduhr and hit a grand slam home run to left. With one swing, the Swift Steeds had a walk-off win.

"This house was rockin'," Killfigure said.
