The Chicago Kingpins rode a solid performance from 21-year-old starting pitcher Avery Time to a win, beating the Anchorage Wheelers, 4-2, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. The Kingpins lead the East Division by 4 games.

Casper Blaze's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant, coming with a runner on 3rd and the game tied, 2-2. The Chicago designated hitter hit a run-scoring single off Wham A Geddon to put the Kingpins up.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Blaze. "You've got to get results."
