Flamingos Suffer One-Run Loss at Anchorage
The timely hitting of D.B. Barnum helped the Anchorage Wheelers down the Florida Flamingos, 6-5. Barnum was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Wheelers. Smoki Zazaki picked up the win, lifting his record to 6-6 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 3 in 6 innings, while yielding 2 runs. Anchorage is now 32-37, Florida 35-34.
