The Kansas City Hepcats handed the Brew City Bears a sound defeat, 11-2, at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good. Faramir Took, who is tied for 6th in the MiLPBE in stolen bases with 30, was a main contributor to the win. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 3 for Kansas City. With the win, Kansas City pushed its record to 40-31.

Took contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Kansas City in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Took took a cutter from Sloane Sinclair and stroked the home run to left. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Hepcats to leap in front, 2-1.
