PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons hosted a real pitchers' duel.

Hugh Jazz pitched a gem to lead Amarillo to victory over the California Firehawks, 2-0. Jazz, now 9-6, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Tayalamp Battalemo closed it out for his 9th save.

Kveta Vlková, who is tied for 6th in the MiLPBE in doubles with 13, had a direct impact on the outcome. Vlková contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Amarillo up, 1-0.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Amarillo skipper .

The third-place Armadillos improved to 38-34.
