Wheelers Roll Past Flamingos, 9-2

The Anchorage Wheelers pinned a convincing loss on the Florida Flamingos, 9-2, at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo. Cameron Squires was a main factor in the win. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Anchorage. Mac N Cheese got credit for the win, improving to 6-7. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 6.2 innings. The last-place Wheelers improved to 31-41.
In the bottom of the second, Anchorage left fielder Jackson Cheerios had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Cheerios stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 3-0, Anchorage. For the game, he was 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2.
