Robinson Earns Praise as Lemurs Topple Firehawks, 9-0
|
At Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle, the California Firehawks and Louisville Lemurs were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Louisville Lemurs saddled the California Firehawks with a loss at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle. The final score was 9-0. Ozzie Robinson was 4 for 5, including 3 singles and 1 home run. The Louisville right fielder scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Louisville now sits at 36-38, while California falls to 37-37.
Aaron Judge had a big 2-run home run for the Lemurs in the bottom of the second inning. With Louisville leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Dr. Hubert Malbec, who is tied for 4th in the MiLPBE in wins with 8, and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Lemurs on top, 3-0.
