The Kansas City Hepcats relied on the hitting of center fielder Bookie Metts to stop the Puerto Rico Ranas, 6-4. For the game, Metts went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. At 39-35, the Hepcats are currently second in the West Division.

In the bottom of the seventh, Metts put his team in front with his 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against Kerr Mitt, made it 6-4, Kansas City.
