Santos Garcia Lifts Flamingos to 13-5 Win
The rain did not keep Florida and Chicago from finishing their game.

The Florida Flamingos downed the Chicago Kingpins, 13-5, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Esteban Santos Garcia led the way, going 4-for-5 for Florida. Florida reliever Orlando Ortiz [BOT] picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Chudigal Son was saddled with the loss.

With two out in the top of the fifth, McScootie Fortune put Florida in front, 4-2, with a 2-run single. The Flamingos went on to win the ballgame.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Fortune.

Florida is 43-32 and Chicago, with the loss, 37-38.
