Small Touches All Bases, Hits for Cycle Sunday, September 14th , 2031 It was a special day for Richard Small at Voyager Stadium today. Not only did Small's Providence Crabs beat the New York Voyagers 11-3, but the left fielder hit for the cycle along the way. The 34-year-old Small racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name in the record books. For the game, he went 4-for-4 with 1 run batted in and 3 runs scored. "He hit everything we threw," said Voyagers manager . "There was just no getting him out today." Speaking to the press after the game, Small said his goal for the day had been to look for "first pitch fastballs." "I got some good looks today," he said. Richard Small singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Dan Wilinsky in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, tripled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
