Armadillos End Phan's Streak Saturday, May 28th , 2072 Green-Chilaquil Phan of the State College Swift Steeds came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 24 games. Making matters even worse for the third baseman, State College dropped the game to the Amarillo Armadillos 8-5. "It was not a good day today," Phan told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." For the year Phan is batting .376 with 4 home runs, 23 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
