Johnson Sews Up MiLPBE Rookie of the Year Saturday, October 22nd , 2072 When the BBN baseball writers saw Reid Johnson on the mound in his debut season, they liked what they saw -- so much so they voted him the 2072 Minor League PBE Rookie of the Year Award winner. The 20-year-old starter racked up 11 wins and 4 losses. He started 24 times, worked 129.2 innings, yielded 138 hits, struck out 100, walked 30 and compiled a 3.68 ERA. Lucas Greep of the Amarillo Armadillos finished second in voting, while Mortimer Dog of the Amarillo Armadillos finished third. |
