Playoffs? No Chance for Puerto Rico Friday, August 26th , 2061 It's back to the drawing board for the Puerto Rico Ranas. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Ranas have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 33 years as a Minor League PBE franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 8th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2053. In the last 10 seasons, the Ranas have made the playoffs 3 times. Puerto Rico last won the World Series in 2050. |
