Giannoulas Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Friday, June 16th , 2062 The number just keeps getting higher. Anchorage first baseman Ted Giannoulas has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the Anchorage took the 7-6 win over the Puerto Rico Ranas at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Puerto Rico manager said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Ted Giannoulas singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, walked in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and flied out in the 9th. Batting .301 to date, Giannoulas has 6 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
