McDaniel Batters Kansas City for 5 Hits Sunday, August 13th , 2062 There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. Shrimp McDaniel of the Louisville Lemurs had one such moment at The Evil Dictator x Jose Forty-Three Best Friendship Ballpark today, when he went 5 for 5 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Louisville fell to a 7-6 defeat to the Kansas City Hepcats. "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 22-year-old right fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game." Shrimp McDaniel singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Doc Halladay in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
