Hitting Streak Still Alive for Kove Thursday, August 17th , 2062 Yneas Kove has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Chicago left fielder picked up 1 more today against the Amarillo Armadillos and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Kingpins won the game 5-1. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Yneas Kove flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Presently Kove is batting .324 with 118 hits and 10 home runs. He has knocked in 48 runs and scored 42 times. |
